These few words of Rahman Baba are beautiful like morning flowers draped in dew . ALLAH rest his soul. He did a lot for the Pukhtun nation. I need just to comment on Rahman Baba’s poetry but i want to say some thing else as well.
I am so disappointed that everybody is just pursuing worldly things, and nobody thinks about our culture and our past beautiful treasury. I wish all Pukhtuns come together do some thing for our culture to save it .
I can see that our culture is dying, but I am not disappointed. I know one day these plant will bring flower of the morning
thanks

Rehman Baba is not only a spirirual poet but an excellent social poet whose poetry represents true Pashtoon- hood. I am not a Pashtoon but related to Pashtoons and have a lot of them. I believe today some short sighted so called thinkers present pashtoon just as a man with gun and on sale to fight and taking pride in to it.
whatever i read of Rehman baba and some what of others like Kushal Khatak and even todays writers like Ghani Khan , i come to know that high human values like hard work and self esteem and self actualization is what they take pride in and that is what areal true brave Pakhtoon is.

Thanks for these thoughts.
I think D3 fits your ideas well:
D 3 The Way of the World.
Do not consider the knowledgeable of this world as clever;
The dim-witted are the clever ones of this world.
Light is harām for those hearts
On whom the dust of the world has settled.

هوښيار مه ګڼه هوښيار د دې دنيا
بې وقوف دے وقوفدار د دې دنيا
روښنائي په هغو زړونو ده حرامه
چې پرې کښيني ګرد غبار د دې دنيا
Yes, the heart of man is sinful.
But God enables man to overcome their selfish ways:
As Baba says:
If you give just one grain into the hand of a hungry one;
That very thing will become your provision for the future.
If you give a single drop of water to the thirsty,
It will become a river between you and hell.
Thank you Zia Khan.
As Rahman says, love is the solution:
D 7 The World of Love
If anyone seeks a friend in this world - this is his friend.
Is this the friend, or is this the world’s adornment?
Thoughts of her braids have encircled my heart,
As a snake coiled around treasure.
God has created this world out of love;
It is the father of all creatures.
In the world there is no task as preeminent as love;
Its pursuit is far above all other labours.
No bulbul would have loved the flower
If it knew it was no flower, but a thorn.
There is no coming into the world a second time;
No second time - this is your turn.
Look to see how long a bubble lasts;
If anyone is counting life, then this is its measure.
Look at Rahmān while thinking of Majnūn;
He is equally miserable in his love for you.
Yes, human rights are so important. As Rahman says:
They will rise as equals;
The princes and beggars of this world.
It will be a stain on the chest of the miser;
Every darham and dinār of this world.
For the contentment of the content,
Let the rich and their riches be sacrificed.
After death all will be tortured;
The heartless and the cruel of this world.
It is always tens and twenties;
But none fulfills the tally of this world.
At death he’s bathed and wrapped;
Disgraced are the respected of this world.
On the takhta he is stripped of his clothes; 40
The shameful and shy of this world.
The Prophet would have had more wealth than any;
If the world were of any value.
Rahmān cannot elucidate the depravity of this world;
So numerous are the vices of this world.
Wonderful to educate the world about the great humanity of Pukhtun culture.
Khushhāl and Doulat are my slaves;
I Rahmān am made universal by the Pukhto language.
خوشحالا و دولتا مې غلامان دي
زه رحمان په پښتو ژبه عالمګير يم
